After years of working in IT, I decided work needed to be more fun, so in 2014, I took my experience from my youth as a wilderness guide, and my love for cycle touring and began and started Great American Bike Tours. Today we have bucket loads of fun connecting great folks like you with amazing cycling adventures!

I owned and operated my own remodeling business for years until Diane (yep, my better-half) figured out how we could turn work into play! I look forward to making sure that your adventure tour and all the toys and gear you'll need are in tip-top condition, and your vacation is nothing but pure enjoyment!

Lifelong cyclist who traded in his 30+-year career in hi-tech for more biking, hiking and cross-country skiing. Charlie also competed in amateur bike racing and enjoyed working at a local farm.

A classically trained violist, Leanne has performed and taught music for over 30 years, and currently teaches viola and chamber music at SUNY Buffalo and. A lifelong outdoor enthusiast, she worked in Yellowstone National Park for 11 summers before joining the GABT team. Despite her very busy schedule Leanne finds time to enjoy the great cycling around her hometown of Buffalo and all along the beautiful Niagara River area.

Born under the patron saint of navigation, Brendan is a lifelong traveler and explorer with a passion for discovering new places and trying new things. Whether it’s teaching folks to slackline or accompanying them on the rail trail of life, Brendan’s warm personality and his ferociousness for fun make him an outstanding member of our team!

Before joining GABT, Tammy was employed as a senior student advisor for University of NH. As a young adult Tammy was a white water guide, running tours on the Colorado and Snake rivers, so you are in good and capable hands with Tammy on the team!

An avid cyclist, Steve can always be found bopping around town on his bike. Steve is a seasoned and valued member of our crew, and goes out of his may to make sure that our tour is the best it can be!
When not providing tour support with Great American Bike Tours, he enjoys making music with his folk duo, which has released three chart-topping folk albums and has toured nationally.

Prior to joining GABT, Laura had a 25-year career in the medical products industry. Laura delights in outdoor pursuits, with a particular sway for trekking forest trails and craggy beaches with her playful canine companion Jack. Laura also enjoys road-trips with friends on her motorcycle taking in the picturesque back roads of New England and the greater Northeastern US.

In his "other life" Larry held the position of lead engineer and machinist. After retiring, Larry was looking for something fun but productive to put some energy towards, and lucky for us we got him, and now he's digging his gig with us as one of our top bike mechanics!
